On behalf of our client, a renowned Pharmaceutical company in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a highly dedicated and competent IT Architect.
IT ARCHITECT, ENGLISH, PHARMA (CONTRACT, BASEL)
This is a contract placement in Basel.
The start date is ASAP.
The contract will run until end of March 2015, with possible extensions.
Occasional travelling, once or twice a month, may occur.
In this challenging contract role you will be responsible for performing overall application design, business requirements mapping and their translation into technical solutions. This will allow for a rapid user interface development and customisation.
You will produce a functional design document and liaise with the development team to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
In order to be considered for this exciting role you are required to have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent;
- Hands-on knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, DOM, JavaScript, XML, JSON and REST;
- Working knowledge of semantic web is mandatory;
- Able to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications and solution designs;
- Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture and systems integration;
- Familiar with Scrum methodologies and practices;
- Fluency in English.
