IT ARCHITECT/DATABASE EXPERT (SQL)

For our bank customer we are looking for a Danish IT ARCHITECT/DATABASE EXPERT (SQL).

- BACKFILL TO DAILY OPERATION OF SQL DATABASE.
- AS WE HAVE A HIGH-END ENVIRONMENT IT SHOULD BE A DATABASE EXPERT WITH HIGH SKILLS FOR MANAGING MS AND SQL SERVER.
- NEED TO HAVE SKILLS CONCERNING DAILY OPERATION AND IN PERFORMANCE TUNING AND TUNING OF SQL AND DATA MANAGEMENT
- HAVE KNOWLEDGE IN LIGHTSPEED AND FOGHLIGHT
- KNOWLEDGE WITH GOLDEN GATE AND VERIDATA WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of databases, database management systems and platforms. Interact with the IT-Supporters and/or the Infrastructure Specialist, Network Specialist, Operation Specialist and Developers to optimize operation stability and platform performance.

Design and implement in cooperation with IT Architects database structure and plans for upgrades. Act as 3rd level support in all matters related to databases and interfaces with external vendors in case of incidents and escalations. Acts at global level and takes a cross border responsibility in operation, implementation and incident handling
