IT Architect

On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for an IT Architect for a 5+ project in Switzerland.

The role is about planning and designing architectures (hardware, software, information systems, communication networks), taking into account economic efficiency quality and feasibilty.
- You are responsible for
- Analyzing the corporate strategy and developing the IT strategy
- Watching the hard - and software market
- Developing and maintaining the IT Strategy and - architecture (hardware, software, communication) according to the corporate strategy and economy
- Documenting the technological descriptions overviews
- Creating and maintaining the application concept for hardware and software
- Representing the IT stragegy and architectures
- Creating and asserting quality standards in terms of strategy and architectures
- Conducting audits and design reviews

Requirements

- Master or Ph.D. in natural science, mathematics or informatics
- Conceptual thinker with strong IT architecture understanding
- Has worked with large volumes of experimental data
- Able to quickly create effective documents using Powerpoint and Visio
- Domain expertise & past project experience. Pharmaceutical R&D. Clinical Trials. Software development
- Able to quickly create effective documents using Powerpoint and Visio
- English - fluent in writing and speaking
