IT Application Support Life Sciences (German or French) 8 months contract in Basel in a Life Science/Laboratory environment.
My client in the pharmacological sector is urgently seeking to recruit an IT application specialist with experience in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the roll out of the application including communication, documentation and installation support.
* Provide user support: answer usage questions, triage user support requests and facilitate the communication between the project team and users.
* Provide user training
Basic Qualifications
* B.S. degree in Computer Science (preferred), Life Sciences or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years of experience in software development/software support of scientific applications in
Bio-Pharmaceutical industry/laboratory environments
* Ability to communicate effectively with scientific clients.
* Strong written and oral communication skills in English and in German or French
* Experience with connecting lab instruments would be an advantage
