IT Application Specialist Job

IT APPLICATION SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Wilmington, DE.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Act as resource to manipulate existing SQL queries to be uploaded to Xcelsius to generate a dashboard report to display safety/health/environmental data.
- The dashboard form has already been designed and is comprised of 10 charts to be produced for 12 businesses and 9 functions.
- The candidate will be required to do turn-over and training at the end of the project to 1-5 members of the SHE data team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
- Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements.
- Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The specialist must be able to updated specs in SQL queries to produce a dashboard report that is in alignment with the corporate Incident Tracking System report outcome.
- The deadline for the final product is month-end January 2015.
