IT Application and Security Analyst Job

IT APPLICATION AND SECURITY ANALYST needed for a SIX (6) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client located in Mount Laurel, NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Ensures and maintains the security and integrity of the Microsoft Dynamics GP 9 accounting database system, SQL Manager Studio, Frx Report Designer 6.7, Frx Forecaster and Crystal Reports XI (collectively, Great Plains) and identifies and create process improvements that streamline the accumulation and processing of both operational and accounting data.
- Provides support for systems-related projects and for the organization in maintaining the systems and network environment.
- Exercises independent responsibility for the Great Plains system administration and report generating activity, making decisions based on thorough knowledge of Great Plains, SQL Manager Studio, Frx Report Designer 6.7, Frx Forecaster and Crystal Reports XI. 25%
- Ensures that user requests are properly reported, processed, and approved by management and comply with corporate policies and procedures. 15%
- Applies knowledge to resolve individual employee questions regarding the system; respond to needsexperience defining and implementing security profiles and procedures; knowledge of Crystal Reports, Frx Report Writer, Frx Forecaster and SQL Manager Studio. Knowledge of MS Dynamics AX is desired but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and tune SQL Manager Studio as needed as the primary support resource.
- Crystal Reports, Frx Designer and Frx Forecaster experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; good presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills working with/resolving both user and technical issues.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, or as part of a team, with tight timeframes.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties.
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including demonstrated ability with all Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to quickly learn new software solutions.
- Ability to update management on Great Plains System integrity and create self-service menus for users of the system
- Experience supporting a medium-sized user base, fielding support calls, e-mails, following through on resolution.
- Experience in a project management role

- Microsoft Office certification is preferred.
