IT Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
- Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
- Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support
- Consult and collaborate with facilities on the installation at new facilities.
- Consult and collaborate with global facilities to manage upgrades.
- Provide 3rd level support for the distributed portions that support assembly processes at manufacturing facilities.
- Provide all levels of support for the centralized portions that support data mining and information reporting.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent)
- Three years of IT job-related experience
- General understanding of programming languages (ie: .Net, C#, Java, JavaScript)
- Working understanding of Oracle databases and writing queries (PL/SQL)
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Strong teamwork and initiative
- Highly accountable and dependable
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
- Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge in factory operations or engineering processes
- Experience leading teams or projects
- Experience working with Remedy, or other support ticketing systems
- 2 plus years intermediate Java experience
- 1 plus years intermediate .NET and PL/SQL experience
- 3 plus years Technical Support experience
