Systems Analyst Developer (.NET, Sharepoint)

My Aberdeen based client are currently looking for a Systems Analyst Developer on an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of a 3 month extension, you will work within the existing IT function across the global organisation with the exciting prospect of global travel. The role will involve:

·Taking a lead on the design, deployment and support of Microsoft Sharepoint-based solutions to enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing, and exploit productivity, workflow and Business Intelligence capabilities within Sharepoint;

·Developing niche solutions utilising Microsoft technologies such as .Net, SQL and business intelligence platforms such as MS Analysis Services.

·Documenting requirements, agreeing schedules / plans;

·Development, testing & implementation;

·Training and Support;

Experience of implementing solutions with Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 / 2010 is essential, and preferably associated technologies such as Infopath forms. Given the Developer aspect of the role, experience with Microsoft technologies such as SQL, .NET, Visual Studio and Sharepoint designer are required. The capability and desire to learn and support both new and existing applications is essential.

The successful candidate will be based in theAberdeenoffice, but must be prepared to fully support the needs of a globally-dispersed business through travel and overnight stays, as required. You will join a successful IT team reporting to the Group IT Business Systems Function.

Skills Required:

·Highly computer literate - Advanced computer skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel,

·At least 2 years experience of ASP.NET, C# and SQL server

·Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server technologies and architectures

·Microsoft development tools, Visual Studio and Sharepoint designer

·Web technologies and languages

·Infopath forms and services

·Business intelligence architectures and development
