IT Admin Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Documentation and update of environment infrastructure plans
- Partnering with Dev Ops and IT and other broader team members to commission/decommissioning of environments
- Maintain/Update Team Infrastructure Inventories (Physical, Virtual and IT Cloud)
- Audit and track current Infrastructure changes (network, load balancing, domain names, IP addresses) and provide input on future changes
- Update application configurations, rebuild and deploy
- Update Jenkins scripts for deployment activities
- Adhere to the companies IT processes for commissioning/updating environments in consultation to development teams.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree (CS or CIS preferred) or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 plus year's related experience or Master's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience
- Excellent inventory management and issue tracking skills
- Knowledge of Unix & Linux Operating systems types
- Knowledge of database types - Oracle an advantage especially with data migration experience
- Knowledge of Tomcat & Apache configurations
- Knowledge of Scripting, Maven, SVN & GIT advantageous
- Knowledge of Jenkins/Hudson job configuration advantageous
- Knowledge of IT terminology and technologies
- Knowledge of networking, DNS and Load balancing with troubleshooting experience advantageous
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Can independently track and drive change orders and IT requests and provide feedback and documentation.
- Proven ability to work well with geographically diverse and international teams spanning US, Europe, India and Asia
