My client, an international company is urgently looking for an iSeries System Management Specialist for the following mission:
PROJECT LENGTH: 3 months (extension possible)
LOCATION: Brussels
START DATE: Immediate
TITLE: iSeries System Management Specialist
SKILLS REQUIRED:
THE ROLE:
- Overall technical responsibility for the success of solution construction, implementation and system integration in a technology, industry or business specialty.
- Deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to influence clients
- Be the focal point of the Iseries Server Team towards the SM/PE community and other Service Delivery teams for all matters related to his/her customer
- Responsible for the overall technical environment of the customer and for the quality of the full range of services provided by the team (including completeness of documentation, pro-active problem management and root cause analysis, change management, reporting, backup/restore tests, security management, asset management, performance management )
- Responsible to follow the right processes and to update related databases, teamrooms with the correct and up to date information
- Follow-up and coordinates the activities performed by other iSeries system engineers for customer
EXPECTED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Extensive experience with: OS400 Basics, CL programming, BRMS, RPG programming and MIMIX
- Good knowledge of VISION, iCLUSTER, PPRC, WWTS, HMC
- Knowledge of PM400, ROBOT400
