IS Support Engineer

IS Support Engineer required for my large Cambridgeshire based client. You will provide technical support to resolve issues on IS managed equipment. You will use your proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, resolve or escalate reported issues. Reacts and responds to customer queries, issues and requests in order to support employees in meeting organisational objectives. You will maintain and improve service levels through receiving and responding to incoming support calls via phone, email and in person and have the ability to prioritise customer demands and expectations, escalating issues where necessary. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting associated with end user PC hardware and software and be able to provide basic troubleshooting of server based software. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a ServiceDesk / Support role environment and have excellent communication skills coupled with a strong customer service orientation.
