IS Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Investigate and identify root cause of data quality issues with flat files and data mapping from data sources.
- Work with various GP, IT, accounts payable and business resources around the enterprise to resolve data availability and quality issues.
- Validation of up updated flat files from data sources.
- Manage projects with data sources to update flat files, field mapping, and process changes to improve data quality.
- Responsible for understanding of the procurement data (PO, Invoice, Supplier data, etc.) including usage and definitions.
- Data accuracy, integrity and completeness are critical to the success of this role.
- Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable company success.
- Working directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution.
- Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
- Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.

SKILLS
Computer related or Engineering related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent). Progressively responsible IT job related experiences. Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools. Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
