IS Solutions Consultant

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an IS SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT to join our client in Wilmington, DE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consult with business customers to garner adoption and ease deployment of Microstrategy solutions, including Visual Insights, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Provide process analysis and requirements specification support across the following categories of activities: proof of concept projects, enhancement projects, and new solution deployment projects.
- Assist in efforts to work with the business to identify functional and technical requirements.
- Assist in the translation of business requirements into design specifications and appropriate test case and test script development. Provide subject matter expertise when possible.
- Serve as business area point of contact for issues and work through technical teams to drive out resolution of technical issues. Communicate issue resolutions with business areas.
- Liaise with Application Developers, Infrastructure Developers and the Support Organization to ensure effective transition and understanding of requirements.
- Collaborate with process owners to improve technology based solutions that optimize the performance, capability and competitiveness of business processes.
- Assist Business Analysts with developing technology requirements and/or functional requirements on assigned projects.
- Determine levels of testing required; develop test cases and test scripts to ensure requirements are met and work with testers and business representatives to conduct User Acceptance Tests.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and project leaders in delivery of process area projects and releases.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree Business Administration or Information Science.
- Minimum of five (5) or more years in technology or process consulting.
- Knowledge of external technology trends and/or business functions, business data and current applications and systems.
- Development experience with Microstrategy 9.3, including use of Visual Insight.
- Eight (8 +) years IS in management, project management and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
- Experienced in process modelling or technology consulting.
- User Experience expertise.
- Experience with Microstrategy mobile solutions.
