IS Solutions Architects

Background
Our client is currently recruiting for 2 Solutions Architect's for their Leeds site for a 4 month contract. It is essential that you have experience in one of the following: Siebal, IBM System Architect or TOGAF.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Outputs/Deliverables to be achieved. Assurance of Information Systems Architecture requirements, solutions and architecture documentation produced by suppliers. Resolution of Information Systems Architecture issues. Population of the System Architect Tool with architectural artefacts. Provide input to architecture documentation produced by the Information Systems Architecture team

Knowledge and Experience

You will need to be able to demonstrate experience in each of the following.

- Track record of performing the solutions architecture role in a high profile large projects/programmes in an organisation of comparable size and complexity to a fixed end date.
- Ensuring the appropriateness of IT solutions design and assurance, and alignment with business requirements.
- Defining IT solutions and options for business cases, feasibility studies and projects, as necessary.
- Ensuring that the IT elements of all solutions fit seamlessly with their process and organisational elements.
- Collaborating with the System and Enterprise Architects to apply architectural principles to solutions as appropriate.
- Working with Business and IT Project Managers to establish the IT elements of project plans, work breakdown structures and project resource estimates.
- Working with Systems Analysts to define the detailed system requirements for projects, and to provide assurance that system requirements will, and have been, met on projects.

Formal Qualifications Required

- A good working knowledge and demonstrable experience of using a standard system development methodology and architectural framework.
