IS PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client in WILMINGTON, DELAWARE.

- The IS Technical Project Manager (PM) leads Projects from initiation to close within agreed constraints of time, budget and quality.
- Ensures that the Project with multiple project/work streams meet intended objectives, establishes Project governance, and ensures that business as well as IS stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
- Accountable for the delivery of Program/project is on time, budget and quality expectations

What You'll Be Doing:
- Create and manage consolidated timeline, integrated work plan.
- Align timeline with business events.
- Identify/manage dependencies between projects (intra-Project and across portfolio)
- Accountable for project delivery. Coordinate status and delivery of project work streams with the IS/IT Work stream Lead and vendors. Ensure effective reporting and analytics to support the decision making process.
- Ensure that impact and changes resulting from projects/Projects are effectively communicated to the business
- Align Project-related activities owned by the business, such as change management, training, business process design, within Project plan
- Ensure Projects/projects continue to align with future Projects/projects/business plans and roadmaps
- Accountable for scope definition and control
- Stakeholder management - responsible for steering/stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risks. Surface issues, risks that may impact intended outcomes, benefits, budget, scope, time.
- Manage relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to project objectives. Responsible for steering/stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risks.
- Establish Project governance, lead decision point reviews. Chair Steering Committee meetings.
- Budget management: manage spend to plan, identify and execute opportunities for under/overspend
- Accountable for Project risk management. Ensure effective risk management processes are in place and effectively used by work stream/project teams. Surface risks that may impact intended outcomes, benefits, budget, scope, time. Effectively manage changes to project scope with appropriate governance
- Accountable for issue management across Project. Ensure effective issue management processes are in place and effectively used by work stream/project teams.
- Identifies and manages resource needs
- Ensures project follows approved methodologies and standards (IS PDM, QMS, etc.)
- Ensures quality of project management deliverables
- Accountable for creation and delivery of communication plan.
- Accountable for Project-related training and change management.
- Point of escalation for project managers.
- Ensure the project can achieve benefits realization Provide technology requirements and/or functional requirements issue escalation accountability on assigned projects.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- At least eight (8+) years experience in Project/project management, with a proven track record
- Evidence of delivering innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organization
- Proven track record in delivering high risk Project/projects and decision making
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong business engagement and business acumen with awareness of political/economic environment
- Experience working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures and guidelines
- Experience with project change management/control processes
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Information Systems
