IS Project Accountant

My Hospitality and Leisure client is seeking a Qualified interim IS Project Accountant with proven expertise of working in IS to support their investment in IS Portfolio of Projects on an initial 3 month contract. You will be working with Programme Leads, Project Managers and Finance and will report to the IS Leadership Team & Finance. The core purpose of the role is to produce accurate forecasting and deliver projects to plan, while optimising the IS Budget.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Assist in the creation of Financial Business cases.
- Understand and report on P&L & Balance Sheet implications of individual Cost/Benefit Analysis.
- Support PMs with monthly reconciliations and forecasting.
- Review & control expenses within projects in flight.
- Identify opportunities and risks within projects.
- Report key performance indicators as per Balance Scorecard requirements.
- Understand vendor spend and implications on P&L Balance sheet
- Supply monthly updates on project finances to IS Leadership Team.
- Provide required financial modelling.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual with experience working in IS with excellent Excel skills. You will have proven experience in Project Accounting and be a Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years PQE. Interpersonal, management and influencing skills are crucial.
