IS Data Warehouse Functional Analyst (Brussels)

In the data warehouse team, we are working in the fascinating world of data every day. In order to be fully prepared for tomorrow's challenges, we have put in
place a new platform, new tools and new detailed and aggregated data for our business clients to support them in their analysis. We work closely with the business to analyse
and model data.

Objective of the job
The key missions of the data warehouse business analyst are
a. Organization and moderating workshops with the business client in order to define their business needs.
b. Gathering the business requirements and define solutions with the client
c. Assisting the project manager for project planning and follow-up
d. Designing the different data patrimonies and keep it coherent in the time
e. Assessing new tools, new technologies and methodologies
f. Documenting the functional documentation
g. Explaining the functional contents of the projects to the development team (link between users and the development team)
h. The monitoring/control of the functional design (logical data, functionalities and controls) of the applications of his business domain.
i. Validating the deviations needed in the design and controlling they are documented.
j. Ensuring the respect of the AG Insurance functional and technical design standards.
k. Definition of best practices and patterns to be applied in his application context and documenting and maintaining them.
l. Helping to define the testing approach of the projects with the clients

Duration: 12 months
(Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Brussels centre.
Je profiel: Required Knowledge and Experience

Level of education required
University Graduate or Professional bachelor
Ideally University graduate "Master" in information Science, Management or Industrial Engineer.

Language requirement
English : Good
*Dutch and French (one fluent the other one basic at least)
