IQ-FMEA Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FMEA Engineer to work for a leading Automotive Tier 1. Successful candidates will have proven experience of the IQ-FMEA Software tool and extensive FMEA methodology experience.

FMEA contractor specification.

- Contractor will be responsible for subsystem motor dFMEAs for electric motors used in automotive electric power steering and braking applications; also responsible for integrating motor dFMEAs into system dFMEAs
- Contractor will work together with motors system engineer and mechanical/electromagnetic/electronic design teams (that are based in Solihull, UK)

Essential technical skills:

- FMEA methodology
- IQ-FMEA software tool (system and sub-system FMEA are all in APIS IQ-FMEA)
- Basic knowledge of electric motors (permanent magnet motors) would be an advantage, but is not essential
