IPTV Test Lead - 6 Month Contract

I am currently recruiting for global telecoms consultancy who are looking for IPTV Test Lead to be based in the Netherlands

- Good Testing Knowledge on OTT streaming videos over iOS, Android and web platforms.
- Capable in measuring various parameters attributing to player session performance, QoE, Media KPIs, Jitter, Loss, etc.
- Detailed technical knowledge of MPEG standards, DVB standards, Video technologies.
- Good understanding of VOD, Replay TV, OTT content delivery and interactive TV systems
- Good knowledge on testing adaptive HTTP streaming service, encrypted video delivery, HTTPS/TCP, etc.
- Ensuring QoE across sessions, bandwidth, video content, resolution, etc.
- Solid knowledge of Server Side streaming platforms
- Experience with test automation and performance testing for video streaming applications.
- Defining, running functional and performance tests in the media streaming space
- Experience with automation testing tools like StormTest, Witbe, Testronic is a must
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, as well as solid background knowledge focused around issues for video streaming.
- Experience with advanced media technologies (streaming, compression, transcoding, transmuxing), including MPEG standards ( H264/MPEG-4, MPEG-2, AVC, SVC) and network communication protocols (rtmp, rtsp, HTTP).
- Extensive knowledge in all facets of deploying and managing a streaming service: provisioning, logging, monitoring, and reporting.
