IP Engineer

We are currently searching for a IP Engineer to work in Amsterdam for 8 months plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.

For a client in the Amsterdam region I am looking for an IP Engineer.

Start: As soon as possible Location: Remotely 60-70% and 30-40% on location in Amsterdam

Cisco (CCIE), Juniper (JNCIE) (our core is based on Junos), IP Senior Network Engineer - European HQ located in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities include:
Design, maintain and optimise the MPLS core network carrying B2B and residential services; Act as the technical lead for related capacity upgrade and feature enhancement projects; Collaborate with engineers in other countries and other Corporate departments (Operations and Design).

The candidate will ideally be CCIE/JNCIE certified, have a strong IP design background and a thorough knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, IP, MPLS, ISIS, BGP and etc, and systems. English language skills and a strong emotional intelligence are a must. Technical project management and autonomy is required on capacity expansions, software standardization, compliancy and collaboration platforms with all Liberty Global operational countries. A special note aside from the Juniper knowledge, is to have Cisco ASR (ASR9K) platform knowledge.

The consultant is required to work on a Full time basis (8 hours a day, 5 days a week, including night work as required)
