IP Data Services Engineer

Projektbeschreibung
o Configuration Management: Execute work orders to a apply configuration changes and implement services. Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities with technical personnel from customer and telco partners.
o 2nd level Incident and Problem Management: Investigate, isolate and drive network and/or product problems reported by customer to closure.
o Participate in an Emergency Support Rotation covering 24x7 network outage and service degradation restoration (OnCall Rotation).
o Work in project assignments with direct interface to customers technical and project management personnel, ensuring an efficient realization of customer specific solutions.
o Create and document network designs, IP-address concepts and migration scenarios.
o Maintain close interfaces with customer's and partner's technical personnel ensuring smooth information flow about reported problems and their resolution status as well as other activities with customer.
o Maintain and improve interfaces with other groups (Technical Competence Centre, Solution Engineering, Sales Managers, Implementation Managers, Field Services, etc).
o Develop and advertise quality procedures, working instructions and quality metrics.
2. Profile Required
a) Mandatory Requirements:
o Advanced technical college/University of applied science in telecommunication, networking with focus on security (LAN/WAN/Security)
o Technical Certifications: CCNP or CCIE; additional practical experience on Juniper. NSN DSLAM is desirable
o In-depth knowledge and practical experience in IP routing and related topics (Switching etc)
o Know how in the following protocols and technologies: IPv4, IPv6, TCP/UDP, BGP4, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS-VPN, VoIP, Dialing (RAS), QoS
o Strong team player, flexibility of integration in a dynamic team with ability to coach/mentor
o Customer oriented way of working
o Analytical mind with good problem solving skills and able to work independently
o Good communications and documentation skills
o English (fluent in written and spoken, mandatory)
o German (fluent in written and spoken, desirable)
