IOT BIG DATA DEVELOPER

Next Ventures, on behalf of a major telecommunications company require a developers for an Internet of Things (IoT) team on a Greenfield project. A new project manager has just been appointed and the next phase is to add a talented developer to the mix. This is an urgent contract requirement and will be running until the end of 2016, with scope for extension.

This IOT project is part of a Big Data transformation project to better understand telecommunication customers and further monetise the vast quantities of Data collected. The successful Contract Developer will have a passion for IOT and be experienced on Big Data Cloud Systems including AWS Redshift and Microsoft Azure.

KEY SKILLS:

-AWS Redshift experience
-Interest in Embedded electronics/sensor hardware
-Hands on experience with IoT platforms including IBM Bluemix, Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT etc
-Experience with Big Data integration of cloud services
-REST Development
-Javascript and Python programming
-Understanding of protocols: MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, Websockets, UDP, TCP
-Fluent English speaking
-Working knowledge of Swedish, Norwegian or other Scandinavian language
-Interest in IoT
