IOS / Mobile Developer

Our client based in Heathrow require a Mobile Applications/iOS developer to join their team.

You will be responsible for:
The Mobile project is responsible for the firms new Mobile Phone App. This consists of:
the firms Mobile App written in native code for each of the four mobile smartphone platforms (iPhone, Blackberry, Android & Windows 7). This provides the functionality to allow the user to display Exec Club information, display flight information, download and display boarding passes, do Proactive Online Upgrades etc.
Mobile Web developed and supported by a third party company. This includes providing the user with mobile versions of the firms web pages.

iOS Developer services are required to develop the business requirements to enable a step change in the future development of the Mobile App.

At a minimum you shall carry out the following developer tasks and activities required to deliver the Mobile project:
Lead delivery across multiple aspects of the IT systems lifecycle e.g. analysis, design, development, test, support
Follows the Agile methodology & principles to design, develop and test the User Stories for the project
Help shape development plans
Design and develop solutions for identified requirements and issues
Provide estimates and risk assessment
Build code to agreed standards, follow structured procedures for reviews
Conduct testing of software
Delivering high quality IT solutions to achieve the business requirement

Essential requirements:
-Strong Objective-C development experience
-Experience coding native iOS applications for at least 1+ years for iPhone and iPad
-Knowledge of Cocoa libraries and iOS frameworks
-Experience with XML and JSON structures SOAP based services and experience working with server side APIs and web service integration
-Experience of the full product lifecycle from feasibility to delivery, good analytical, problem solving and numerical skills
-Experience of working in an Agile scrum environment
-Ability to set and achieve challenging targets
-Good communicator
-Ability to work within a team to achieve team goals
-Proficient in English language- written and spoken
