IOS Developer Job

SR. IOS DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Renton, WA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- iOS software development experience
- UX design experience on iOS
- Java Object Oriented Design/development for iPad

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Designing graphics and mapping applications for the iPad
- designing and building cutting edge aviation mobile applications
- use case definition
- visualization design
- development of mobile applications for the iOS platform.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 5+ years of software development across multiple platforms and programming languages
- 3+ years of iOS software development experience (iPad preferred)
- 2+ years of UX design experience on iOS platform
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Design, programming languages and algorithm development
- Strong knowledge of Java for iPad
- Proficiency in BCOP Fortran and converting to Java for iPad
- Understand and use quality coding patterns
- Experience with the following on iOS: GCD, multi-threading, queues, and Core Data
- Experience defining use cases, developing and unit testing applications on iOS using graphics and maps
- Experience designing and building mobile applications with multiple data sources
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar technical field
- W2 required

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience building mobile application with multiple data sources
- Experience working with ARINC 702A as data source
- Experience working with AIDS (Aircraft Integrated Data System) as data source
- Customer-facing consulting experience
- Ability to work with cross functional team of Project Management, QA, Customer, and Business Management
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Aviation Industry data sources
