IOS Developer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

We are looking for a seasoned iOS developer who has hands on working experience in building apps on iOS with preferably some experience on Android and/or Windows phone using xcode and objective-C. The ideal candidate for this vacancy should have strong skills in Objective-C development with focus on performance and testing. Experience with Webservices (eg exchanging data with JSON) is a must. He or she must have clear understanding of the iOS App life cycle and strong Object Oriented programming skills. You are motivated and interested in web based technologies and a team player. You are communicative and can easily translate functional requirements into a technical implementation, and discuss your own technical requirements with your Front End, midtier (Java) and Back End (Mainframe) colleagues. You have attention for quality, maintainability, security, performance and testing.

You document your status and progress in our JIRA ticketing system and document your code in our Confluence wiki. You have the ambition to obtain the best possible result for our customer and are not afraid to point attention points and/or propose improvements along the way.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Build objective-c code based on wire frames/Visual Design
- Collaborate with Requirements and Design teams to build new features/enhance current features
- Write unit tests
- Package iOS Application
- Enhance performance of the application
