- The platform expert is responsible to keep the platform up to date according to the maintenance plan.
- The platform expert manages the repository of components from suppliers and in-house build components.
- The platform expert is responsible for the regression test. The platform expert takes care of promoting components to the environments by managing the configurations for each environment and for applying continuous delivery tools.
- The platform expert provides consulting and assists the other members of the team in designing optimal solutions

Good knowledge of the Marketview platform, especially the following components:

- ION gateways
- CTS
- PXE
- VMO, VMQ
