Ion Channel Research Associate needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:
* Patch clamp technique
* Pharmacology
* Preclinical safety

What You'll Be Doing:

* Responsibility for the daily operation of automated clamp assays for cardiac ion channel safety profiling.
* You will work in a team of specialists in preclinical safety profiling and should have the ability to work interactively to ensure the timely and efficient support of projects.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

* BS or MS degree in Biology or a related discipline.
* Expertise in the manual and/or automated patch clamp technique and data analysis is a must.
* Experience with automated patch clamp platforms is preferred but training in these techniques would be provided for candidates with only manual patch clamp expertise.
* Good understanding of ion channel physiology and pharmacology would be plus.
* Strong technical skills and experience in manual and/or automated patch clamp
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
