2/3 monthsImmediate startAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Investment Reporting Accountant to join the finance department of an international provider of life insurance, pensions and asset management as part of a finance transformation project. This role is based in Edinburgh and our client is looking for the successful candidate to start immediately. Key Responsibilities:* Review of overall process & controls and recommendation of improvements within the function* Ensure that all statutory & regulatory accounting deadlines are met * Completion of monthly management reporting packages * Responsible for the production of legal entity accounts and regulatory returns* Provide added value commentary surrounding movements in the P&L and Balance Sheet * Build relationships with cross functional teams to enhance working relationships and improve analytical review About you:* You will be a fully qualified accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)* Investment Reporting experience* Audit experience or background in controls processes* Database reporting experience* Self-starter/work on own initiative
