INVESTMENT MANAGER

We are currently looking to recruit an investment Manager to work within Pricing and Controls. As investment manager you will to provide the expert knowledge and analysis required to support the implementation of unit pricing policies, operational controls and related projects, ensuring that all controls are implemented in accordance with the principles of "Treating Customers Fairly" and ABI Good Practice for Unit Linked Funds.

INVESTMENT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the Investment Operations Controls framework, ensuring processes, risks and appropriate controls are identified, evaluated, documented and reported.
- Lead on Investment Operations risk management including identification and documentation of key risks within Investment Operations; ensuring visibility at senior management level and appropriate actions are owned and executed; reporting to Group Financial Control; liaison with other Risk managers within the Finance community.
- Supporting the outsourced service provider oversight. Provide input into escalated issues, monthly service reviews and Supplier Management.
- Unit Pricing Policy maintenance and compliance within Investment Operations.
- Liaison with Actuarial Function Holdermanaging Investment Operations discretion log; ensuring Unit Pricing policy is observed throughout Investment Operations governance & controls framework.

INVESTMENT MANAGER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience in Investment Accounting, Unit Pricing & other finance systems within a financial services environment
- Proven track record in risk management and compliance reporting.
- Proven track record in delivering complex policies to company requirements
- Relationship management skills - ability to manage key relationships and act independently with good people management skills
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Advanced level knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
