Investment Guidelines Analyst - ideally Fidessa, Latent Zero Sentinel

Global Investment Manager seek an experienced Investment Guidelines Analyst.

Role

You will be involved in monitoring the Investment guidelines monitoring using the constraint server Sentinel.

Accurately analyse all detected incidents.

Ensure complete resolution of all alerts in conjunction with all impacted Teams including, IG Engineering, Front Office, Distribution, Legal or Compliance.

You will be responsible for Implementation and maintenance of constraints, Test and validate the coding of new constraints,

Evaluate the quality of the measures performed by the monitoring tools. Participate in the implementation of new constraints.

You will assist in the production of Compliance Reports for clients.

In addition you will take a lead role and look to improve the quality and efficiency of the procedures to:

- Reduce the number of false alerts
- Propose solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the procedures.
- Propose enhancements to improve the effectiveness of the procedures, eg offshoring
- Implementation of these enhancements in conjunction with Technology and other implicated Teams

Key Skills and Experience;

Must have

- Good knowledge of equity, Fixed Income and derivative markets along with local regulations and associated applications.
- VERY STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THOROUGH AND METICULOUS APPROACH.
- SOLUTION ORIENTED MIND-SET
- WELL ORGANISED AND ABLE TO WORK TO SOMETIMES TIGHT AND TIME CRITICAL DEADLINES
- ADVANCED EXCEL KNOWLEDGE (MACRO LEVEL) IS PREFERRED. FIDESSA -LATENT ZERO SENTINEL PREFERRED ALTHOUGH NOT ESSENTIAL
- SELF-MOTIVATED AND ABLE TO PLAN AND MANAGE WORKLOAD WITH LIMITED SUPERVISION.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (WRITTEN AND VERBAL) ALONG WITH THE CAPACITY TO WORK/INTERACT WITH ALL LEVELS OF MANAGEMENT/STAFF WITHIN THE ORGANISATION.
