INVESTMENT BANKING PYTHON DEVELOPER - CONTRACT ROLE

Our client, a leading financial organisation, is currently seeking a Python developer for a 6 month contract in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the World's leading financial institutions, within the investment banking arena.

OVERVIEW:
Global Markets and Risk Technology & Operations (GMRT&O) provides end-to-end technology solutions and operations support for the Global Markets businesses including Equity, Electronic Trading, Rates & Currencies, Credit & Structured Products, Commodities, Research, Sales and Capital Markets. In addition, the group is responsible for establishing an Architecture and Strategy framework for consistency across the Global Markets platforms.

PROJECT:
Brand new project to Dublin to develop a complex data heavy calculations platform (Sparck). This platform will calculate credit risk for all counter parties and across all products. Given the nature of investment banking the platform will evolve as every regulator change will have an impact. The group will be a Feature team in Dublin although part of a global team but delivering on own projects and objectives.

The GMRT&O technology teams in Dublin apply all the very best practices in the mark right now, it's an Agile environment, they adopt an XP Methodology, test drive and work environment is democratic.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidates must be self motivated, entrepreneurial and independent thinkers and passionate about technology.
- A high level of Python working knowledge is essential for this position.
