Experienced Data Protection Officer required for this leading investment bank in the City. This role is to ensure compliance across the bank within Data Protection laws and codes of practice. The DPO will work with the audit teams to monitor compliance and make suggestions and improvements to ensure consistency across the entire group. They will liaise with the legal teams, ensuring responses relevant to data protection are adhered to as necessary, further responsibilities include advising on all bank initiatives, websites and marketing concerned with Data Protection issues.
Candidates must have the following experience:
- A lawyer with several years experience within Data Protection
- Experience in data protection matters, including compliance, data security, reviews, and audits.
- Responding to subject access requests
- Strong Project Management skills
- Governance policies concerning data privacy.
