Investment Accountant/Change Manager

Investment Accountant/Change Manager required to work on a Fund Rationalisation Project representing the Investment Accounting and Operations Teams for a retail and commercial bank in Gloucestershire. This is a 9 month contract offering competitive rates.

The Investment Accountant/Change Manager duties are as below:

- Contributing updates to Project Manager or Project Management Office for Plans/Logs
- Chasing Investment Accounting Subject Matter Expert's (SME) on o/s issues/actions
- Key Point of Contact with 3rd party providers change functions
- Submitting and tracking Change Requests & fund launches
- Impact analysis on changes to Finance functions
- Key Point of Contact for 3rd party Fund Manager in managing the transitions
- Transition co-ordination pre & post go-live
- Technical input into proposed solutions within Investment Accountant & Operations and within the wider project.
- Documenting Processes & RACI Matrix
- Writing papers for Operational Readiness governance committee and presenting either in person or via email to obtain sign off
- Writing first draft Reporting Treatment papers ahead of circulating to SME's for refinement. Chasing SME's for the final papers and managing the papers through the approval process.
- Attending meetings as necessary and contributing to discussions with Investment Accountant & Operations considerations

Essential Skills required for the Investment Accountant/Change Manager:

- Experience of Investment Operations and Investment Accounting environment
- Experience of change and project management
- Experience of stakeholder engagement and management
- Management of virtual and/or actual teams
