ANALYST - INVESTIGATION SERVICES
Are you an Analyst with at least 2 years of working in an investigations or intelligence environment within law enforcement, public or commercial sectors? Was this experience gained within a multinational and multicultural environment and are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within a non-governmental organisation (NGO) ? If so, please have a look at the following details:
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an Investigations Analyst to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
YOUR ROLE:
You will be required to support the Investigations Manager and Lead Investigations Analyst in reviewing a large number of documents and identifying key information to develop inferences that lead to facts and evidence. You will also support the maintenance of a schedule of documents and evidence, as well as leads for follow-up, including connections between people, organizations, events, transactions and other component data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Investigations Manager and the Lead Investigations Analyst, the tasks the consultant will perform as part of the investigative team include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Review grant documents and data relating to the country of interest
- Highlight inconsistencies and/or correlations between data sets
- Record location of information and how it either proves or disproves allegations, or can further assist the investigation in its inquiries
- Attend Geneva-based interviews and review records of conversation
- Link people, events, organizations, transactions to produce timelines and/or network charts to visually represent what is known and where knowledge gaps exist
- Summarize findings as instructed by the Lead Analyst
TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED RESULTS, IT'S ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:
- A university degree in a social sciences or research field with two years of relevant
professional qualifications and experience - A minimum of two years' experience as an Analyst
- Experience of working in an investigations or intelligence environment within law enforcement, public or commercial sectors
- Working experience of using investigative analysis software such as i2 or similar for data management and visualizations
- Experience of working in sensitive environments and with confidential information and processes
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment in a related field and experience handling confidential witnesses and whistle-blowers
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and Access for designing and building
workbooks and databases - Fluent in English, knowledge of Korean would be beneficial
