INVENTORY OFFICER

OPPORTUNITY WITHIN A LARGE, PRESTIGIOUS ENVIROMENT

This is a job opportunity for a 6 month contract within a prestigious Government organisation within the supply chain/logistics area. You will be an integral part of the team, gain valuable experience and have an opportunity to network within a large organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You daily duties will include ensuring the inventory datasets are maintained and kept current, acting as a focal point for requests of change of inventory data, provide inventory management advice to staff, to support the maintenance and management of the inventory management tools used within the organisation (mostly Excel based), to assist in the development of inventory strategies and plans to deliver corporate objectives. You will also need to liaise with other departments, and assist management in the design of inventory management processes.

Therefore a diverse role but one where the right person can really develop and succeed.

REQUIREMENTS

For this job you will need experience within the supply chain/logistics field, having worked with the IT systems that go with it, have excellent communication skills and be highly organised.
