Yoh has a six (6) month opportunity for an INVENTORY LOSS ANALYST to join our client in Pittsburgh PA!

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Inventory/Liquidation/Loss Analyst is responsible for proactively working to mitigate financial exposure to the bottom line as it relates to finished goods and raw material inventory. This is accomplished by playing an active role selling aging and slow moving product to secondary markets for the best negotiated price. In addition, the role will analyze and make recommendation to the brand teams on the quantity and price of inventory to be liquidated. The analyst is responsible for a monthly summarization of liquidation sales, recovery rate and donation quantity.

Job Qualifications:
- Position is due to extra help needed after a manager resigned and they have more work to spread around.
- Manage and execute all aspects of Liquidation process.
- CP - work in close conjunction with field sales and direct selling to customer.
- FS/Raw Ingredients - direct selling to customer.
- Actively manage monthly aging inventory by working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply, Demand and other areas to identify potential FG risk and receive manager approval for liquidation.
- Analyze and communicate data to provide the business leaders the ability to make key decisions where liquidation and donation are options to drive down slow-moving, obsolete inventory.
- Initiate process improvements to improve recovery rate of raw material ingredients and food service items.
- Organize data and verify critical elements for Client's Overstock auction; such as item#, standard cost, location, weight, etc.
- Management of Client's Overstock.com; manual order entry and respond to customer requests.
- Collecting, analysing, evaluating and reporting data to increase recovery rate.
- Acts as a liaison between secondary customers, sales, and customer service.
- Authorize new liquidation customers by working with credit and sales.
- Collaboration with Feeding America for donation needs in order to decrease disposals.
- Create and maintain ad hoc reporting at the SKU level, as requested.
- Continue MUDA education of CP organization; and FS organization- building and enhancing tools and guides as necessary for Raw Materials and factories.

Job Qualifications:
- Strong Administrative skills.
- Solid Business Acumen with some good analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Education: Minimum high School Diploma.
