We are seeking Replenishment Planner for a 8 month contract position in Duluth, GA. Ideally, the candidate for the Replenishment Planner positions will possess Customer Service, Replenishment, Logistics, or other Supply Chain Management experience. 1 year or less of related experience.

Skills:

- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in one of the following

Supply Chain Management
Operations Management
Logistics
Business Administration
APICS certification a plus

Responsibilities:

- To fulfil the inventory and product needs of the stocking locations; routinely finding creative solutions to help manage challenges in the container plant's supply chain .
- Strikes a positive balance between analytical skills and customer service.
- Reconcile customer demand with manufacturing and distribution capabilities, enabling a rapid response to changing requirements. Developing a clear understanding of the plant's supply chain and effectively manage inventory within that supply chain. Understanding the market conditions for our products; financial and customer pressures are continuous factors affecting service to both internal and external customers
- Developing and maintaining a relationship with Plant Planners to ensure product availability and zero stock-outs of critical SKU's. Overcoming the manual processes associated with managing issues, such as product allocation, shipment prioritization, etc. Understanding the composition and quality of the customer's forecast

Tasks

Managing replenishment inventory - works with the Demand Planner to execute the master plan to maintain the established stocking levels in the locations and quantities defined and determined. Monitoring and evaluating immediate inventory levels for product groups at all facilities, reviewing stock replenishment needs, and ensuring replenishment (production) orders are generated in a cost-effective manner. Resolving service issues and responding to mills in order to maintain service levels. Anticipating customer requirements and integrating those requirements into Rock-Tenn's supply chain practices
Working with customer service and cross functional partners to understand and respond to customer service requirements in a timely manner. Adjusting/editing demand requirements on an exception basis
Collaborating with Plant Planners on paper needs and schedule changes. Communicating short/long term issues with paper availability to the appropriate level. Participating in the monthly integrated Sales developing work objectives to align with business objectives. Utilizing data from various sources for optimal decision making. Advising on and implementing process improvements.
