Inventory Control Specialist

Yoh has a three (3) month contract opportunity for an INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST to join our client in Acton, MA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Packing, shipping, stocking shelves, and/or receiving
- Pack finished goods per the direction of the stockroom supervisor
- Label stock, pull stock from the shelf for shipment and put newly received material on the shelves following quality SOP's and using FIFO technique
- Pull components from the shelves and place into kits, following the sequence defined by the stockroom supervisor and or inventory control clerk. Alert supervision to shortages or incorrect quantities found while kitting
- Perform parts provider duties of filling bins, cleaning parts and supporting one piece flow lines
- Receive material on the receiving dock while consistently providing feedback as needed to the purchasing department as well as filling kit shortages
- Process RMA's from receiving - to cleaning - to packing - for return to customers
- Clean, organize, label and in general keep the stock room area clean, neat and visually organized
- Receive inventory using paperwork provided by receiving personnel. Keep track of and update the kit shortage log
- Work on cycle count issues with Inventory/Production control

Job Qualifications:

- Experience in a warehouse, retail or manufacturing environment is preferred
- CAPABLE OF WORKING SHIFTS FROM 6:00 AM UNTIL 2:30 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
- PHYSICALLY ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50 LBS.
