THE BIG PICTURE:
- The primary function of the Inventory Control Coordinator is to maintain the accuracy and control of the inventory within the facility. This function is a customer facing position such that it requires close involvement with the customer to align book inventories and perform annual physical counts. This position will work closely with supervisors and management to identify and correct process failures causing inventory discrepancies.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Perform and coordinate the cycle count process
- Coordinate and oversee customer physical inventories
- Physically and administratively handle damages and quarantined inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment to include fork-lift, reach, picker, and clamp trucks
- Issue written and or oral feedback to supervisors related to process improvements.
- Organize, collate and file paperwork related to inventory control.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience with Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Return to Vendor(RTV) Transactions.
- Oracle or PeopleSoft knowledge
- Inventory management exp
- Order booking exp
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of all processes within a warehouse.
