Inventory Clerk Job

INVENTORY CLERK is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in COLORADO SPRINGS, CO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- The Inventory Associate interfaces with internal customer(s) to locate stock and deliver items to their destination upon request.
- Coordinates and supports manufacturing activities to meet production line/program material demands and assure parts availability to support daily assembly requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Unpacks and verifies condition of material, counts and receives incoming materials, elevates and resolves discrepancies with little assistance.
- Ensures accurate picking of deliveries, packaging of materials per Customer Requirements on delivery ticket, and timely delivery to Shipping or Quality based on requirements.
- Ensure accurate picking to work orders and timely delivery to requeated destination.
- Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries.
- Conducts cycle counts and records results in SAP.
- Records all inventory transactions in SAP.
- Utilizing knowledge of part-marking procedures, assists in IDing parts and elevates and resolves discrepancies with little assistance.
- Troubleshoots inventory and work order issues effectively.
- Performs other duties as required and is available for overtime as necessary.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- High level of inventory skills, including participating in all levels of materials management and inventory control.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and respond to required reports, including cycle-counts, sales order line items, work order shortages, purchase orders, ECOs, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning System (ie SAP) defined as the ability to understand and utilize supporting system screens (ie, Manufacturing Work Order,
- Purchase Order and Sales Order screens) in order to track work and purchase orders.
- Self-management/team skills: self-directed, interacts well with others, multiple task management, follows instructions, able to check one's own work.
- This is a six (6) month contract, paying between $11 - $12 per hour.
