Internet - Multimedia - Web Developer

OVERVIEW:

This role will assist the development of online applications that are to be used for capturing and managing client data by our business units. This includes the provision of advice, understanding business requirements, documenting solutions and undertaking development activities.

The successful applicant will need strong Microsoft development skills with experience with the implementation of .NET solutions:

- Design of web applications to solve business problems;
- Strong understanding of COTS web form products;
- Strong understanding of Cisco Jabber SDK, Microsoft Lync, Active Directory and Exchange;
- Development of online web forms and applications;
- Preparation of design documentation; and
- Provision of management reports.

This role will work closely with the Business Engagement Team to ensure solutions to business requirements meet client expectations.

ACTIVITIES:

- Analysis of business requirements
- Design of web applications and software solutions
- Undertaking software development of web applications within a Microsoft environment
- Provision of advice in relation to COTS web form products

SKILL SET

- Demonstrated software development experience within the Microsoft framework;
- Demonstrated experience with the integration of Cisco Jabber SDK, Microsoft Lync, Active Directory and Exchange:
- Demonstrated experience with developing web applications.
- Demonstrated experience with application of business processes within a software development environment
- Knowledge of Internet protocols, database management systems, and revision of control systems
