RIPA International, part of Capita's market-leading Learning & Development division, is looking to recruit an INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME COORDINATOR on an initial 4 month fixed-term contract.

RIPA International has developed a worldwide reputation for offering a range of comprehensive public service management and consultancy skills, and innovative approaches to delivering our services to over 1000 delegates each year ranging from administrators to permanent secretaries and ministers.

Within this setting, our INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME COORDINATORS\' are responsible for:

. Working alongside the assigned Director of Studies to construct course programmes and provide professional, responsible support throughout delivery
. Ensuring all course administration is accurate and produced in a timely manner, upholding RIPA's professional reputation
. Ensuring forecasts, course budgets, invoices and fee scales are correct, processed promptly and kept within business plan
. Managing all information and documentation relating to delegates and providing ongoing delegate support as well as sourcing and contacting speakers and sites of excellence for visits
. Producing course certificates, distributing and collecting course evaluation forms and producing end-of-course evaluation reports with 2 weeks of course completion
. Providing introductory 'Living in London' presentation for delegates for each programme coordinated
. Responding to all queries relating to the course
. Suggesting additional marketing activities, collating information as requested to assist with marketing and development and sharing possible course leads with the RIPA sales team

To succeed in this role, the right individual must be able to demonstrate the following:

. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
. Training course coordination
. Strong customer service skills and strong influencing and organisational skills
. Effective team player
. Ability to work well under pressure
. Flexible, enthusiastic and committed with a mature outlook
. Able to multi-task and prioritise work load with an 'eye for detail'
. Empathy with multi-cultural delivery

In addition, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:

. Training or conference and/or event management experience
. Awareness of costs
. The ability to learn new IT systems quickly
. Knowledge of or experience in UK public sector/government
. Interest in current affairs and/or international work and developing countries
