International Equity Settlements Clerk - ICSD/CSD - Cash Equities - Securities - Payments

A global investment banking firm has released a great opportunity for an Equity Settlements Clerk to join them in their London offices. You will be joining their International Equity Settlements team, who support the Equity trading and sales desks as well as the Security Finance business.

This is a contract opportunity for 5-6 months on a £150-200 daily rate.

Your role will be to support the Equity Settlements team across a number of Equity Cash markets and the Security Finance business. Daily duties will include prematching, Cash and Stock break resolution, exception management and settlement for both on and off exchange transactions.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

- International Equity settlement coverage
- Unmatched processing prior to settlement date
- Same day and post settlement date fails management
- Cash and Stock reconciliation investigation
- Settlement Exceptions processing

The ideal candidate would showcase the following skills:

- Great working knowledge of Cash Equities and Security Finance businesses.
- Strong working knowledge of ICSD settlement mechanics
- The ability to manage high volumes with multiple payment and settlement deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Swift, Citidirect, Gloss, Alert or Global One systems would be beneficial
