For our customer project - a large scale data warehouse development for a globally operating insurance company based in Zurich - we are looking for a
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ANALYST W/RISK AND/OR UNDERWRITING EXPERIENCE
Our customer is a global insurance company with mostly very independently operating country organizations (40+). Each of these countries develop and apply their own risk models for the general insurance business according to their specific needs. The global headquarter - based in the greater Zurich area - is building a data warehouse which will represent a collection of the independently collected risk data in a comparable format. In order to load such data in a global DWH, the extract process needs to be adapted to the centralized DWHs needs, so the same standards and similar interfaces can be used.
You have several years of experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer in the insurance industry (preferably GI but reinsurance background would be fine, too) in DWH projects with risk exposure. You have worked in global/international projects dealing with senior management and underwriters and acted as an interface between business and IT.
Technically you know your way around DWH and SQL and of course all the tools needed on a day to day basis as a BA and RE. In terms of soft skills a persistent, self-driven and diplomatic attitude is a
must.
Good English skills are mandatory for this project. Any additional language is an asset.
