Internal Communications Specialist

An opportunity currently exists for an internal communications specialists to join a government organisation based on the NSW Central Coast. This role is a 6 month contract working on an Intranet project redesign project.

You will manage and maintain the Intranet ensuring it is a valuable source of information for employees. You will ensure that website content is managed effectively, ensuring quality control for new content as well as a user friendly design.

The majority of your role will consist of developing content with key stakeholders including communications plans, change management messaging, CEO employee communications and other internal newsletters and communications.

You will have a strong background in writing and internal communications and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You should work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and have a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will have used Sharepoint as a content management tool previously.

Some travel to Sydney will be required for this role.
