Experienced and articulate writer and communicator who provides internal and external communications support to advance and promote the company's Corporate Responsibility and environment initiatives, and also supports business strategies for major corporate functions including: Finance, Marketing and Information Technology, Legal and Government Affairs and Human Resources. Responsible for collaborating with senior executives and business clients to develop and execute strategic communications plans aligned to the company's purpose, values and business goals. Develops strategies to help build a positive corporate image employing various internal and external communication channels. Plans, prepares and/or disseminates information to multiple key stakeholders and develops, manages, enhances and improves the channels those key stakeholders utilize to receive information from the company. Plays a prominent role in creating a work environment that attracts and retains the calibre of people needed to realize the company's strategy.

JOB CONTENT

- Plans, develops, and implements strategic communication for longer-term projects. Requires work prioritization, scheduling, and coordinating resources.
- Develops integrated communications plans including objectives, targeted audiences, key messages, and implementation plan, coordinating with other functions, teams and agencies as needed.
- Owns projects such as newsletters, databases, and distribution lists and produces elements of a department-wide communication program.

- Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

- An experienced writer with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- An energetic, strategic and creative individual with outstanding writing/editing/positioning skills
- Ability to exert leadership and influence manage at all levels of the organization
- Able to work in a variety of media; meet tight deadlines; Manage multiple projects simultaneously; Thrive in a collaborative team-based environment, yet able to work independently; Create/implement strategic communication plans; and Prioritize projects
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Must take initiative and demonstrate strong follow-up/follow-through skills; Have high integrity and accountability; and work effectively with global teams across diverse cultures and geographies.
- A 4-year bachelor degree in journalism, English or communications from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 6 years of corporate communications experience.
