Internal Communications Manager - £295 pd - London or Leeds

Internal Communciations Manager required to work for a large government organisation in Central London.

Option to be based in Leeds.

This is an exciting 3 MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY where THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DEVELOP AND DELIVER AN INTERNAL COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION AND DEPARTMENTAL POLICIES.

MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Working closely with key stakeholders, ensuring that colleagues are aware and engaged with corporate initiatives.

Managing a range of internal communications channels.

Managing key internal staff events.

Developing new and innovative ways of communicating departmental changes and developments to staff members.

Organising internal departmental events and functions.

General up keep of Intranet site.

Ensuring staff distribution lists are kept up to date.

You will be responsible for effective line management of 1-2 team members.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You must possess excellent writing, editing and proofing skills across different channels

Design integrated communication strategies and examine fit with existing plans

Demonstrate strong written communications skills. Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on writing clearly for target audience

Analyse and segment internal audiences to target communications effectively

Develop a strong understanding of different internal audiences. Use this knowledge to ensure the tone, language and format of internal communications is easily accessible to and read by a range of staff groups Ideas

Demonstrate flexible, creative thinking. Test and refine ideas to develop innovative solutions
