Internal Communications Manager

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - CHANGE PROJECT - STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT - MEDIA - GLOBAL MATRIX ENVIRONMENT

Our global broadcasting company is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join a small team to ensure employees are well informed and positively engaged. The role leads on comms, ensuring their people have opportunities to collaborate in sporting, community and environmental initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensuring all employees are kept up-to-date through regular communications including e-mails and internal news stories; assist in the organisation and development of staff events
- Develop inspiring and effective communications to promote any initiatives internally and drive high engagement
- Responsible for creating and delivering fundraising events for staff, sometimes in conjunction with Public Service, EG/Comic Relief and Children in Need
- Responsible for devising internal communications across their Culture Change for all staff in UK and globally with regard to their relocation and related new ways of working

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Proven experience in an internal communications, events, public relations or media environment
- Able to generate and implement creative ideas for engaging and informing staff and stakeholders
- Good IT skills, including working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience working on company-wide culture change, encompassing all aspects of behaviours and skills
- Experience working in a complex, global Matrix organisation is desirable
