Internal Communications Manager

Our client, an interesting organisation in Inner London is looking to recruit an internal Communications Manager. Working with the Events and Missions team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an internal communication strategy in line with government legislation and departmental policies.Working closely with key stakeholders, ensuring that colleagues are aware and engaged with corporate initiatives. Managing a range of internal communications channels. Managing key internal staff events. Developing new and innovative ways of communicating departmental changes and developments to staff members. Organising internal departmental events and functions. General up keep of Intranet site. Ensuring staff distribution lists are kept up to date.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage a comprehensive communication programme for a complex set of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to draft core messages and key communications across a number of channels - on line, face to face, print and digital. Ability to drive programmes to tight deadlines and at pace. Ability to draft explicit and compelling customer propositions and event descriptors to drive marketing. Effective stakeholder management. Ability to draft and script presentations.
