Internal Communications Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to inform and engage staff and other stakeholders through the development and management of internal communications strategies and materials that support the organisation and the achievement of its corporate objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review of internal communications channels.
- Development and delivery of new Intranet sites.
- Development of a strategic approach to employee communications, setting clear objectives, themes and performance measures.
- Management of the internal communications team.
- Working cooperatively with other business units to enlist support for internal communications projects and development of materials.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Proven experience in the management of internal/employee communications for a medium to large sized organisation including Intranet site development and implementation.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate staff in a team environment to achieve outcomes with budgetary constraints.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders and an understanding of customer focus service delivery for internal communications activities.
- Proven high level analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
- Proven experience in writing, editing and publication of internal newsletters, staff magazines and annual reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience writing for a wide range of audiences.
